Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information PokeNotify collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and our iOS app.

Who we are

PokeNotify LLC (“PokeNotify”, “we”, “us”) operates a trading-card-game restock alerting service delivered through our website and mobile app. We are an independent collector tool with no retailer affiliations. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at pokenotify01@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account information. When you sign in (including with Sign in with Apple), we receive your email address and, if you provide it, your name. If you use Apple’s “Hide My Email,” we only ever see the relay address Apple provides.
  • Device & push tokens. To deliver restock alerts, we store the push notification token for your device.
  • Preferences. The regions, retailers, and games you choose to follow, so we can send relevant alerts.
  • Subscription status. If you purchase a subscription, our payments provider (RevenueCat) and Apple tell us whether your subscription is active. We never receive or store your payment card details.
  • Usage data. Limited activity such as which restock alerts you tap and your notification history, used to operate and improve the alerting features.
  • Analytics & advertising data. With your consent, we collect product-analytics events (such as page views, sign-ups, and trial starts) and advertising-measurement signals (such as cookies and identifiers used to measure the performance of our ads). See Analytics and advertising below. You can decline this collection, and on iOS we ask for permission before any ad-attribution tracking.

How we use your information

  • To create and maintain your account.
  • To send the restock alerts and notifications you sign up for.
  • To provide subscription features and verify your membership status.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do measure the performance of our own advertising, as described in the next section, and only with your consent.

Analytics and advertising

To understand how PokeNotify is used and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, we use the following, subject to your choices below:

  • Product analytics (PostHog). We record first-party usage events — such as page views, sign-ups, and trial starts — to understand our funnels and improve the product. We do not enable session recording, and analytics runs only after you allow it.
  • Advertising measurement (Meta). When you consent, our website loads the Meta Pixel and our servers send Meta corresponding conversion events through Meta’s Conversions API, so we can measure which Facebook and Instagram ads lead to sign-ups and subscriptions. This may include cookies (such as Meta’s _fbp and _fbc) and a hashed version of your email used solely to match a conversion.
  • Mobile app attribution (iOS). In our iOS app we ask, through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether we may use advertising identifiers. Only if you allow tracking do we collect those identifiers and share subscription-conversion events (via RevenueCat and the Meta SDK) for ad measurement. If you decline, we do not collect the advertising identifier or share attribution data, and the app continues to work normally.

Declining consent on the web, or declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, prevents the Meta Pixel and Conversions API from running and stops advertising and (where required) analytics tracking for you.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers that help us run PokeNotify, and only as needed for them to perform their service:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
  • RevenueCat and Apple — subscription purchases and entitlement management.
  • Expo and Apple Push Notification service — delivery of push notifications.
  • PostHog — product analytics, used only with your consent.
  • Meta — advertising measurement (Meta Pixel and Conversions API), used only with your consent.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your account and the data associated with it, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.

Your rights and choices

  • Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from the app: open your profile and choose “Delete account.” You can also email us at pokenotify01@gmail.com and we will delete your account.
  • Manage notifications. You can turn off push notifications in your device settings at any time.
  • Manage analytics & advertising consent. On the web, you choose whether to allow analytics and advertising cookies when you first visit, and you can change your choice by clearing the site’s stored data in your browser. On iOS, you control ad tracking through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
  • Access or correct your data. Contact us and we will help with access or correction requests.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. If you are in the EU or UK, you can object to or withdraw consent for analytics and advertising, and request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data. If you are a California resident, you can request access to or deletion of your personal information and opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — which we already gate behind your consent. To exercise any of these rights, email pokenotify01@gmail.com.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple and must be managed or cancelled in your App Store settings.

Children’s privacy

PokeNotify is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
